Your Mission

As a Senior Backend Engineer - Platform & Activation at Adsquare, you are building an ever-growing web based product and are responsible for our distributed backend systems together with highly skilled tech professionals. By creating and running products like audience targeting and proximity targeting you will empower campaign planners to reach their audiences with intuitive tools to easily build and activate custom audience segments for any channel in a privacy-friendly way.

In this role you will: 

  • Work in a self organized agile team with high level of autonomy and you will actively shape your teams engineering culture.
  • Design and build solutions based on microservices using containers.
  • Design and build highly scalable solutions in AWS and provision them using Terraform.
  • Share your knowledge with the team.
Desired Background
  • You have significant experience with Java 11 (we currently move to 17) and Kotlin is a plus.
  • You have significant experience in building rest-full services using Spring Boot.
  • You are used to work in cross-functional agile teams.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering backend heavy software projects from prototype to value generating product.
  • Experience with Apache Spark using Scala is very welcome plus.
  • English is our main (natural) language, Polish or German are a plus.
