Lead the Data-In Squad: lead a squad of data engineers focused on the efficient ingestion, processing, and storage of big data from various providers across 20+ markets
Backlog Management: Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring it is aligned with the product roadmap and business goals. Ensure the team understands and delivers on the highest priority items
Maximise Team Output: Drive and maximise the output of the data engineering team by ensuring clear requirements, removing obstacles, and facilitating efficient workflows
Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap for data ingestion and processing, outlining key initiatives and timelines
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with data analytics engineering and data science teams to ensure the ingested data is accessible and can be leveraged to create valuable data products
Stakeholder Management: Work with our Data Partnerships & Technical Account Management teams, as well as other Product Managers to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on data strategy and priorities
Technical Specifications: Create detailed data requirements, user stories, and technical specifications for data projects
Quality Assurance: Conduct data quality testing to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of ingested data
Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor and analyse the performance of data ingestion processes post-launch and gather feedback for continuous improvement
Documentation and Training: Plan and execute the launch of new data ingestion processes, including developing documentation and training materials for internal teams
Research and Analysis: Research and analyse data market trends, customer needs, and competitive products to inform data strategy
